Veedhi Shoola or spearing streets as it may be called, should be taken care of while purchasing the plot itself. The bad or even dangerous veedhi shoola's include the following directions:
|
Eastern |
- |
Southeast |
|
Northern |
- |
Northwest |
|
Southern |
- |
Southwest |
|
Western |
- |
Southwest |
The above veedhi shoolas are very dangerous with a potential for grave end results. However, they can be rectified by making certain alterations or even
deleting the unwanted/undesirable portion of the plot. Another veedhi shoola tenet is that the plot/house should see the street line of the neighbors particularly
in the south and west directions and should be at par with that of others.
Streets that Serve Us Well (Good Street Focus).
As there are bad streets there are good streets too around us. These include
- street focus on the eastern-northeast
- street focus on the northern-northeast
- street focus on the southern-southeast
- street focus on the western-northwest
It is also good to have total street focus on the total length of the house in the North and East directions only. But there tend to be mixed reactions of street focuses that run beside the total length of the house in the south and west directions.
The various tenets of the Vaasthu Shastra discussed above form the basic core of Vaasthu or the science of construction.
